Associate Listening and Communication

GoHappy Texting Platform

At RNDC we implemented the goHappy texting tool to enhance communication with our associates. This innovative solution delivers messages and updates directly to our associates' phones, ensuring they receive important information promptly and efficiently. Keeping everyone “in the know” improves engagement, morale, and productivity, enabling a connected and thriving workforce that delivers.

Culture Compass Newsletter

RNDC introduced a monthly newsletter titled “Culture Compass,” designed to keep associates updated on the initiatives and activations that drive our multi-faceted, unique company culture. The Compass showcases content that offers insights into opportunities that invigorate our workplace. From celebrating achievements and spotlighting teams to sharing valuable information, the Compass is the guide to navigating what’s happening across RNDC.

RNDC's Change Council

The Change Council is committed to enhancing change leadership at both individual and organizational levels. The goal is to empower Change Agents to develop valuable skills in resilience, resourcefulness, and agility, while also improving collaboration, communication, and implementation of solutions across departments. As part of this mission, the Council piloted an Internal Networking Program to be fully launched in 2025. This program will bring together a diverse group of associates from various departments and levels, creating opportunities to break down silos, foster meaningful connections, and build a sense of community through engaging conversations.

Governance & Ethics

Lighthouse

Fostering a culture of honesty, integrity and fairness is critical at RNDC. To support this, we utilize Syntrio Lighthouse, an independent third-party ethics hotline provider that enables our associates to report any unethical behavior or compliance issues anonymously and securely. We are committed to handling reports and thoroughly investigating matters with sensitivity.

Loss Prevention & Safety

The safety and security of our associates is paramount, which is why we offer many avenues to report incidents of all types at RNDC to be investigated and resolved, which included the addition of potential hazards and near misses in 2024.

Associates are encouraged to report incidents directly to the Loss Prevention & Safety team using an online web form, or indirectly through the Crime Stopper Reward Program by calling a third-party operator anonymously to report crime against RNDC for a possible reward up to $1000.

Tracking incidents has given RNDC the ability to share trends and apply preventative measures to lower overall incidents by 8% in 2024.

RNDC has implemented several initiatives to promote and foster a culture of inclusivity. This is for all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, economic status and other diverse backgrounds.

RNDC Associate Resource Groups

RNDC truly values the unique perspectives, experiences, and contributions of our diverse associates, communities, and business partners. Our ARG network has dedicated groups focused on women, LGBTQ+, parents and caregivers, military, disabilities, Black, Hispanic and Asian American & Pacific Islanders.  

Our ARGs follow the guiding principles of the 4Cs:

Career: Providing development content and opportunities to our associates.
Commerce: Helping with specific business needs like recruitment, market research and building better partnerships with our suppliers.
Community: Building deep and impactful relationships in the communities in which we live and work.
Culture: Creating a sense of belonging and inclusive workplace experience and environment that helps attract and retain talent.
